Kozhikode: With two more days remaining to unfold a clear picture of the top slot winners of the 55th State School Arts Festival, Palakkad and host Kozhikode are in a neck-and-neck race for the gold cup.
Palakkad is maintaining the lead with 564 points on the fifth day today. Defending champion Kozhikode is just one point behind, at 563.
Thrissur is in the third position with 554 points, followed by Kannur (553), Malappuram (541), Kasaragod (536), Alappuzha (534), Kottayam (532), Ernakulam (530), Kollam (526), Wayanad (504), Pathanamthitta (478) and Idukki (459).
