Mani sticks to his stand, says will present the budget

Thiruvananthapuram: Finance Minster K M Mani, who has been accused of accepting bribes from bar owners, on Friday reiterated that he would present the budget as long as the UDF government is in power in the state.

“I am not scared of any "gimmicks." I am the Finance Minister of the state and I will present the budget as long as the UDF government is in power,” said the Kerala Congress (M) supremo.

When asked about the remarks of Chief Whip P C George, Mani said he does not want to respond to that.

George had earlier said that it was for Mani to decide whether he wants to present the budget or not.
