Palakkad: In an alleged case of moral policing, a middle-aged man was beaten to death by a group of people at Cherpulassery in Palakkad on Sunday night.
The deceased has been identified as Prabhakaran.
According to police, Prabhakaran, died in the attack by a group of people who questioned him after he was found in a suspicious manner with a woman in the locality.
Four people have been taken into custody in connection with the incident.
