Thiruvananthapuram: The police Tuesday registered a case against a section of students of IHRD Engineering College in Adoor in connection with the Onam celebrations on the campus.
The case has been registered against 200 students, including girls, on charges of blocking traffic and travelling atop vehicles.
Six officials of the Fire and Rescue Services were yesterday suspended for the misuse of a fire tender during the Onam pageantry.
The Onam revelry at Adoor took place a few days after the CET Onam celebrations which claimed the life of a student.
