Chennithala denies reports of colleagues complaining against him

Thiruvananthapuram: Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala on Saturday denied reports that his cabinet colleagues Water Resources Minister P J Joseph and Ibrahim Kunju, the PWD Minister, had complained about him over the issue of suspension of officials with the State Construction Corporation.

"A prima facie case has been identified in the State Construction Corporation. One petition has been received by the vigilance and anti-corruption bureau.

"The preliminary enquiry revealed that there is a prima facie case. Case has been registered in their board. In that board two people are members and they happened to be the Chief Engineers. So, the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau Director recommended for that. As a Minister of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Corporation, I have to accept that. I had followed all the procedures," he said.
