Alappuzha: A 47-year-old housewife was found dead in her residence at Harippad in Alappuzha on Friday.
The deceased, Jalaja, wife of Suriyan, was found dead with injuries after a robbery bid, sources said.
Jalaja's husband was employed in Gulf and her two children were doing engineering in Chennai. Jalaja was in fact staying in Chennai and had come to her hometown to attend a wedding.
