Chavakkad: Chavakkad Circle Inspector, who is probing the murder of Congress (A) group activist A C Haneefa, has been transferred amid allegations that the investigation was proceeding at snail's pace.
The decision in this regard was taken on the basis of a confidential investigation report.
The relatives of Haneefa had earlier alleged that the investigation into the murder case was not in the right direction.
