Although the updated results were to be published on Saturday, the officials took more time to assure the accuracy of it, learning a lesson from the previous mess. Around 3000 students’ marks in some of the subjects were missing in the marklist published earlier. The latest list is after correcting such errors. the missing grace marks also have been added in the updated marklist.

Earlier, the officials had given contradictory versions about the mess. Director of Public Instruction K Gopalakrishna Bhat had said that the anomalies in the SSLC results had occurred at the valuation centres while entering data in the software. His opinion contrdicted the view expressed by Education Minister P K Abdu Rabb that the problems with the software developed by the National Informatics Centre (NIC) caused the anomalies.
