Riyadh: Media One Gulf, an exclusive channel for the expatriates in Gulf countries by Madhyamam Broadcasting Limited, is set to begin its telecast on April 24.
Dr. Riyad bin Kamal bin Khadr Najm, President of Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for Audio and Visual Media, released the logo of the channel at a function at Marriott Hotel in Riyadh on Monday.
Dr. Riyad Kamal Najm said the channel would play a great role in linking the ties between India and the Gulf countries.
'MediaOne', the Malayalam television channel by renowned Malayalam daily 'Madhyamam' and operated by Madhyamam Broadcasting Limited, was launched on February 10, 2013.
Aimed at promoting an alternative media culture that strengthens human values, it pledges to oppose injustice, violence, communalism with each and every visual and sound; and to promote healthy dialogues that help to know each other.
Established in 1987, Madhyamam Daily has within two decades added 17 editions including 9 editions in the Middle East.
