Mumbai: In a shocking incident that took place in Mumbai, a mother stabbed and bit her daughter with a pencil for not answering during an online class.
Santa Cruz police have registered a case against the accused. The incident took place on Wednesday when the sixth-grader did not answer the teacher's questions during the online class.
The enraged mother stabbed and bit her daughter several times on the back with a pencil. The child's sister who witnessed this called the child helpline sought for immediate help.
Following this, two people from the NGO visited their home and confronted the mother.However, the mother showed no signs of remorse,following which a case was filed against her.
According to the reports of Mumbai Mirror, the mother has not been arrested by the police, yet.
