Hyderabad: Union Minister Amit Shah promised Telangana on Monday an abolishment of 4 per cent Muslim reservation if the party is voted to power in the state.
The Congress and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) in Telangana have a deal between them, Shah alleged on Monday. According to him, Congress is supporting K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) to become the Telangana state chief minister for another term and in return, KCR read BRS will help Rahul Gandhi to become Prime Minister of India, reports IANS.
Addressing an election rally in the Huzurabad constituency in Karimnagar district, he claimed that the PM post is not vacant for Rahul since Narendra Modi will be taking the high seat once again post-2024 polls.
According to him, whenever Congress MLAs were elected by the people, they defected to the BRS. The public is angered by the ruling BRS government and no one wishes KCR back on the CM seat, he claimed.
“It’s time to give VRS to BRS and send their car (BRS poll symbol) to the garage,” Shah added.
He said that BRS and MIM are one, slamming that voting for any of them will be a vote for corruption and family rule.
Further, Shah alleged that Congress, BRS and MIM indulge in minority appeasement and said a vote for them will be a vote for supporters of Razakars, IANS reports. The Union Home Minister said that KCR is not supporting the ‘Hyderabad Liberation Day’ as he was scared of AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi.
Amit Shah claimed that the Modi government delivered seven lakh crore rupees to Telangana in the last 10 years. He claimed that the BJP government, under Narendra Modi’s leadership, will make Telangana “number one”.
