Trump’s son-in-law visits Kerala, meets chief minister

Kochi: Michael Boulos, businessman and son-in-law of US President Donald Trump, visited Kerala and met the state Chief Minister during his visit to Kochi.

Boulos is married to Tiffany Trump, daughter of Donald Trump. The meeting was scheduled for 11 am.

US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor also attended the meeting with Boulos. State Industries Minister P.K. Kunhalikutty represented the state government at the discussions. State Chief Secretary Biswanath Sinha, Industries Department Principal Secretary Mohammed Haneesh and other senior officials also participated in the meeting.

Following his official engagements and other programmes in Kochi, Boulos, along with the US ambassador and a six-member delegation, travelled to Alappuzha for sightseeing.

The delegation is expected to watch the training sessions of the traditional snake boats preparing for the Nehru Trophy Boat Race and enjoy the scenic beauty of the backwaters. Boulos is expected to leave Kerala by evening.

In May, Boulos and his wife Tiffany Trump visited the Taj Mahal in Agra and Jaisalmer in Rajasthan.
