Hyderabad: A traffic police saved a man who collapsed from a heart attack on the road here in Hyderabad, NDTV reported, citing a viral video shared on Twitter.
The police officer Rajasekhar could be seen performing CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) on the fallen person in the video. The policeman pressed the other's chest with force till the latter responded to the action.
The Cyberabad Police informed that the man was taken to hospital.
Telangana Health Minister Harish Rao Thanneeru shared the viral video in his tweet, thanking the officer. He promised that the state government would train frontline health employees and workers in CPR since such cases are on the rise.

Thanneru tweeted, "Highly appreciate traffic police Rajashekhar of Rajendranagar PS (police station) for doing a commendable job in saving precious life by immediately doing CPR. Telangana government will conduct CPR training for all frontline employees and workers next week in view of increasing reports of such incidents."
CPR is a life-saving first-aid procedure in cases of emergencies like heart at or near drowning.
