The Kerala Story exposes new kind of terrorism: Nadda claims

New Delhi: BJP national president JP Nadda claimed that “The Kerala Story” exposes a “new type of terrorism”. This terrorism does not use ammunition, Hindustan Times reported.

Post attending a screening of the film in Bengaluru, Nadda said that the film successfully exposes a poisonous kind of terrorism and a conspiracy behind it.

“I just got to watch The Kerala Story. We know about a new type of terrorism…we have heard of bullets, bombs and automatic weapons being used for terrorism. There is, however, this dangerous type of terrorism that is without ammunition. This film successfully exposes such ‘poisonous’ terrorism and the conspiracy behind it,” HT quoted Nadda.

According to him, the Kerala High Court made a ‘serious observation” refusing to stay the release of the movie. For youngsters, who are misguided and reach a point of no return, the movie is an eye-opener, he claimed, adding that it is the same for society as a large. He urged all to watch the movie.

Like Vivek Agnihotri’s “The Kashmir Files”, BJP and its leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, have been endorsing the film, urging everyone to watch it. BJP is using the movie as leverage to churn votes in Karnataka, where Assembly polls are scheduled for May 10. In Madhya Pradesh, which is going to polls at the end of this year, the BJP government made it tax-free

The Sudipto Sen directorial, The Kerala Story’s teaser claimed that more than 32,000 Kerala non-Muslim women were recruited to the Islamic state for its terrorist missions.
