After the video emerged, Thanthai Periyar Dravidar Kazhagam (TPDK) members conducted a protest in front of the school. They raised slogans against officials of the corporation under which the school is being run, alleging that they sanctioned RSS permission to conduct the event. Also, police troops got deployed to stop unwanted occurrences.

TPDK said that the state government should take immediate action against the officials, and it should also take measures to prevent RSS from conducting similar camps inside the school or any corporation schools or public places in the future.

Meanwhile, Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner M Prathap told TIE that the corporation had not given permission to conduct any social, religious or political events to be conducted inside the school premises.

He said that the incident is being investigated, and a show-cause notice has been sent to the headmaster of the school.

The RS Puram police have registered a case against the people who entered the campus and conducted the training.

However, the RSS claimed that it did not run any training inside the school. It said that no shakha was held inside, but the volunteers were cleaning the campus as part of its annual Seva event.
