Provocative videos leak from "Jamia shooter's" Instagram

New Delhi: Provocative videos have leaked from the Instagram account owned by the man who shot at the protesting crowd near Jamia Millia University during the nationwide agitation against citizenship law. After the videos triggered a controversy, the man, who was on bail at the moment, made his account private, NDTV reported.

One of the videos, leaked from the account named "Rambhakt Gopal", featured a gun's barrel pointing out of a car window at children, who ran away scared. The man has 13,000 followers on Instagram and used to call himself Nathuram Godse 2.0. He is notorious for his many controversial posts on social media before. Many videos and photos were his ventures as a cow vigilante. During the Jami incident, he has posted slogans like "Shaheen Bagh, game over" and "I am giving Azadi (freedom)" with pictures of weapons. He had gone Facebook live moments ahead of his attack on Jamia students.

However, he was arrested for hate speech in 'Hindu mahapanchayats' in Haryana and was released on bail.
