New Delhi: Manish Sisodia, former education minister of Delhi, said in a letter to the people of the country that PM Modi’s alleged lack of educational qualification is ‘ dangerous’ for India.
The jailed Aam Aadmi Party leader in his letter, tweeted by CM Arvind Kejriwal, further said that youths today are looking for opportunities and want to win the world, adding that ‘ Does a less educated PM have the capacity to fulfill the aspiration of today’s youth?’
Manish Sisodia criticism of PM Modi goes in line with Arvind Kejriwal’s attack on the Prime Minster over his college degrees.
The Gujarat High Court recently imposed on Kejriwal a fine of Rs 25,000 for asking for details of the PM's graduation and post-graduation degrees through Right to Information (RTI), according to NDTV.
As the world is talking about progress in science and technology including artificial intelligence, Sisodia said his heart sinks hearing the Prime Minister talking about making tea or food from dirty gas by inserting pipe in a dirty drain.
‘When the PM says that radar can't detect an aircraft flying behind clouds, he becomes a subject of mockery in the entire world. School and college students mock him,’ he reportedly said in the letter.
Sisodia said that entire world knows that the prime minister of India is less educated and lacks basic knowledge of science.
The AAP leader alleged that 60,000 schools were shut down in recent years showcasing that education is not a priority of the government.
Sisodia is doing time in jail after a trial court dismissed his bail application on March 31 in a case related to alleged irregularities in the Delhi liquor policy.
