Bengaluru: The burqa clad girl, Muskan, who confronted a group of saffron scarf-worn boys at a college in Karnataka's Mandya district told she was not in fear when the boys heckled her.
Muskan told the NDTV that among the boys she confronted at the college, she could recognise 10 per cent of them as being students rest seemed to be outsiders.
In a video, Muskan can be seen shouting back "Allahu Akbar" when the boys, who followed waving the saffron shawls and raising the "Jai Shree Ram" when she made her way onto the college campus.

Muskan further said that she was afraid of neither the boys nor the situation, since the education is priority while protecting the very constitutional right. As they advanced towards her, as seen in the video, the college officials warded off the crowd from the girl.
Colleges across Karnataka have seen rising protests by hijab-wearing students on one hand and men wearing saffron scarves on the other.
The protests started last month at the Government Girls PU college in Udupi when six students alleged they had been barred from classes for insisting on keeping on the hijab.
The protests spread to more colleges in Udupi and other cities like Mandya and Shivamogga, with college staff banning the hijab - though rules allow it - and many students taking a confrontational position by showing up in saffron scarves and shouting slogans.
