The race for the Lok Sabha seat in Outer Manipur has intensified, with Alfred K. Arthur of the Congress holding a sizable lead over Timothy Zimik of the BJP-backed NPF. As a result, the NDA candidates are lagging behind in both of the Manipur seats.

The data from Nagaland suggest that the Congress could make a major comeback in the state.
