Hyderabad: Former union minister from BJP Subramanian Swamy said that it was Prime Minister Narendra Modi's dictatorial mind set that pulled BJP down. He lashed out at the party for its lacklustre performance in the general elections.
My estimate of 220 for BJP a low estimate has turned to be very close to the truth of 237. Had the BJP followed the suggestions I had made then BJP could achieved 300. Unfortunately, the dictatorial mindset of Modi has put BJP in a ditch from which it has to now climb out.

BJP, who had claimed to attain 400 plus seats but could not even achieve 300, is falling short of 36 seats to reach a single majority. It will have to rely on its partners in NDA to form a government.
Swamy claimed that if BJP had followed his suggestions, it would have secured 300 seats for sure.
