Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan claimed that the state's investment-friendly policies can make it a USD 550 billion economy along with contributing to the Prime Minister's goal of making India a USD 5 trillion economy.
He added that the state has good infrastructure, ample land, water, 24x7 power, and skilled manpower for investment. He was speaking at a dinner with NRIs who were in Madhya Pradesh for the 'Pravasi Bharatiya Divas' which is to be held from January 8 to 10 in Indore.
He told the NRIs that they are the brand ambassadors of the state and they should invest in and inspire others. The CM added that he will be forming an executive committee for NRIs named "Friends of Madhya Pradesh." The committee will meet every six months and distinguished businessmen will be rewarded.
"Every year in Madhya Pradesh, we will celebrate the pride day of cities and villages. You should come to your village or city on that day and give your contribution. You should participate in the Global Investors Summit. You must invest in Madhya Pradesh and inspire others. If you have come to Madhya Pradesh then you must explore it," said the CM.
