Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad said India's old culture should be revived and Sanatan Dharma principles should be restored. He was inaugurating a private school in Kerala and said it is only possible through proper education.
He clarified that the aim of reviving the old culture is not to go back but to bring back the 'Sanatan Dharma' principles. The Governor quoted Swami Vivekananda and said the purpose of human life is the attainment of knowledge, and humility is the result of knowledge. "Anyone who has humility cannot be looked down upon".
Sanatan Dharma is a way of life defined by certain principles meant for goodwill. Different texts list various virtues and duties. The most common virtues are honesty, refraining from injuring living beings, purity, goodwill, mercy, patience, forbearance, self-restraint, generosity, and asceticism.
District Magistrate Umesh Pratap Singh, Superintendent of Police S Anand, and MLA Hari Prakash Verma were in attendance.
