Mumbai: The BJP Maharashtra Chief doubts whether present situation is not enough for President's rule to be imposed in the state.
BJP president Chandrakant Patil claimed he has prepared a 22-page note against the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government to hand over to Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari.
In the note, not only is there the corruption in the Shiv Sena led government over the arrest of two ministers by the ED, but the breakdown of law and order also featured in it, The Indian Express reported.
Though Patil said he did not want to intervene in Governor's prerogative by demanding a President's rule in the state, he asked whether the government's failure in fighting corruption, even within its cabinet, and a complete breakdown of law and order were not enough to impose President's rule in Maharashtra.
