Delhi Man receives parcel from banned AliExpress 4 years later

New Delhi: In a surprising turn of events, a social media influencer based in Delhi recently received a long-awaited parcel from AliExpress, the online retail service owned by Alibaba Group, after a staggering four-year wait.

Taking to Twitter, Nitin Agrawal shared his experience, stating, "Never lose hope! So, I ordered this from Ali Express (now banned in India) back in 2019, and the parcel was delivered today."

The tweet received mixed reactions, with some offering congratulations and others praising the company's dedication.

"The Chinese know how to do business. They refunded the money for each and every order which got stuck in 2020," commented one user.

"I also received my parcel from AliExpress after 8 months. Meanwhile, AliExpress had already refunded my payment," shared another user.

AliExpress gained popularity for its wide selection of affordable and unique products. However, in June 2020, the Indian government imposed a ban on the app, along with 47 other applications.
