Amaravati: Bill Gates, founder chairman of the Gates Foundation, will arrive in Andhra Pradesh on Monday, leading a delegation for talks with Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, and IT Minister Nara Lokesh.

The discussions will cover expanding projects in education, health, and agriculture with the Foundation's support, as state officials confirmed Sunday.

Gates's itinerary starts at 10 a.m. at the State Secretariat, followed by a visit to the Real Time Governance Society (RTGS) Centre to review technology's role in administration. Naidu will present real-time governance outcomes, Swarnandhra Vision-2047 reforms, and initiatives like MedTech, diagnostics, and the Gates-backed Sanjeevani project, which aims to enhance public health through digital records and personalized medicine—a point the Chief Minister highlighted in the recent Assembly session.

The delegation will later inspect AI- and drone-assisted farming at a site near Undavalli village in Amaravati.
