Grand Alliance Chief Minister candidate Tejashwi Yadav is leading from his Raghopur Assembly seat.
According to the early poll trends, Tejashwi was leading from the Raghopur Assembly seat with 2,445 votes, while his rival Satish Kumar was trailing by over 500 votes with 1,990 votes.

"The fight in Bihar is between PM Narendra Modi and Tejashwi Yadav and it was between the 'jungle raj vs vikas raj'. The people appreciate vikash raj. Now, the trend is coming accordingly," said Radhika Raman, vice president of the BJP's IT cell
Sujeet Rana, spokesperson of OBC cell of the BJP in Bihar said: "Silent voters are with us, women generally do not come out of their houses but they know the good governance in Bihar. Liquor ban was a great initiative in Bihar that women appreciated. Crime was controlled by and large under the Nitish Kumar government in Bihar."
Rana further said that seats of the BJP are expected to increase in Bihar.
The ruling NDA has surged ahead of the opposition alliance of Rashtriya Janata Dal, the Congress and Left parties, moving above the half-way mark after a close fight for Bihar's 243 seats. Within the ruling alliance, Nitish Kumar's Janata Dal United, however, has fallen far behind ally BJP -- an outcome that was expected after Chirag Paswan's rebellion and his party's solo contest
