Brazenly justifying the crime of the demolition of the Babri Masjid by the Kar Sevak, labelling the mosque as a symbol of slavery, and expressing joy at the construction of a Ram Temple in its place as a long-cherished dream, RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat reminded his followers of the need to continue the struggle to achieve their goal.
During his three-day visit, Bhagwat referred to the demolished Babri mosque as a 'symbol of slavery,' claiming that no other mosques in Ayodhya were attacked and giving a commendation to the Kar Sevaks, asserting that they had not committed any riots anywhere - contrary to the communal clashes across the country that claimed many lives of Muslims after the Babri Masjid’s demolition.
His comments come ahead of the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony scheduled for January 22.
He urged for the continuation of the struggle that led to the realization of this dream, emphasizing the need to organize and unite society more quickly.
Highlighting the importance of unity, Bhagwat remarked, "When the entire nation stands together, it will be able to remove all the evils of the world and become a 'Vishwa Guru' (World Teacher)."
Addressing the resilience of Hindu culture, Bhagwat noted that despite facing numerous challenges, the culture has maintained its identity over time. He stated, "Despite having so many languages, gods and goddesses, diverse religions, every person in India from North to South and from East to West believes that we have to live in such a way that the world learns to live by watching it."
Bhagwat concluded by urging swift action in organizing and uniting society to continue the positive momentum gained with the construction of the Ram temple, envisioning a future where India serves as a guiding light for the world.
