Bollywood actress Mahima Chaudhry recently shared a video of a photoshoot on Instagram. She is seen flaunting a shaved head with her co-star. The Pardes actress recently survived breast cancer.
In the post, the actress revealed that she has been wearing a wig through the treatment. "Some people told me they never noticed I was wearing a wig and others say they did. No big deal".
She added that those who want to wear cool wigs can do that. "Do whatever works for you. You can find very natural-looking wigs". The actress further said those who do not want to wear a wig should not worry about it because the bald look is beautiful too.
Thanking co-star Anupam Kher, an actor known for pulling off the bald look, she said Kher gave her confidence to carry the bald look. "Bald is beautiful. Anupam Kher gave me the confidence to carry the look. I hope to give you the same confidence and tell you how cool it is".
Anupam Kher promptly replied to her Instagram post and wrote: "God made a few perfect heads! Rest he covered with hair." He added that Mahima is a beautiful person and ultimately that is what matters. "Live your life on your own terms".
The actress was last seen on the big screen in 2016 and is now making her comeback after recovering from cancer. Anupam Kher had earlier shared a video on his Instagram page in which Mahima is seen with a bald look. He wrote: "Sometimes you can live through the sorrows!"
He shared the news of Mahima recovering from breast cancer last week. In the video, Mahima talked about how Kher approached her to do work in his upcoming film.
The actress further said she has been getting calls to work in web series in the past few years, and it left her feeling frustrated. I thought why am I getting calls now when I don't even have hair, said Mahima. She added that she never told anyone why she is turning down a project.
About working with Anupam Kher, she said she could not refuse a project with him, and he started talking about the role.
