AAP MCD poll candidate caught on camera flaunting revolver, booked

New Delhi: Delhi police filed a case against AAP candidate Joginder Singh after he publicly brandished a revolver.

A footage of Joginder Singh alias Bunty dancing with gun in hand went viral on social media, leading to police action.

Delhi police stated that Joginder Singh is charged with a case under Arms Act after he was seen flaunting a revolver.

Singh, who is a candidate fielded by AAP for MCD polls in Swaroop Nagar, was seen dancing along with his associates and brazenly displaying machismo.

Singh now faces charges under section 25 of the Arms Act and further investigation is underway.

The 15-second video showed Singh in a jubilant mood and it is not known if the gun is a licensed one.

As the voting for Delhi MCD polls will take place on December 7, both the BJP and AAP are locked in a pitched battle.

The BJP is currently ruling the Municipal Corporation of Delhi and is hopeful to retain power while AAP is confident of snatching power from the saffron party.
