Mumbai: Shah Rukh Khan is having a good year and has been ranked first in the list of TIME100 Reader Polls. He is ahead of Oscar-winning actor Michelle Yeoh, athlete Serena Williams, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, and Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.
He earned 4% of the vote from over 1.2 million people who participated in the poll. Readers were asked to vote for the personalities that they thought to be the best fit for the magazine's annual list of most influential people.
Remarkably, the second spot on the list was occupied by Iranian women who have been fighting for freedom. With a total of 2% votes, healthcare workers came third. On the fourth spot are Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Iconic football player Lionel Messi got 1.8% of the vote and the 5th spot.
Shah Rukh Khan returned to the screen with Pathaan after a break of four years and the movie went on to become a blockbuster. He will be next seen in Jawan with Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi.
