Shah Rukh Khan and family travel for IPL 2024 final after health scare

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who recently experienced a health scare due to a heat stroke, appears to be in good health as he was seen departing for Chennai from the Mumbai airport earlier today.

Accompanying Shah Rukh were his children, Suhana Khan and AbRam, along with his sister Shehnaz. The Khan family is heading to Chennai to attend the IPL final match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Chepauk Stadium. Shah Rukh’s elder son Aryan was also spotted at the airport.

This IPL season, Shah Rukh has been a regular presence at cricket grounds, showing steadfast support for his team, KKR. His involvement includes cheering from the stands and personally interacting with players from both teams. His enthusiastic presence during KKR’s Qualifier 1 match against SRH significantly boosted the morale of the "men in purple."

Recently, Shah Rukh was hospitalized due to the intense heatwave in Ahmedabad but was discharged a few hours later. Although he has not commented publicly on the incident, his manager Pooja Dadlani provided an update to fans and well-wishers via Instagram.

Pooja wrote, “To all of Mr Khan’s fans and well-wishers – he is doing well. Thank you for your love, prayers and concern.” Additionally, Shah Rukh’s KKR business partners, Juhi Chawla and her husband Jay Mehta, visited him at the Ahmedabad hospital.
