Mumbai: After their successful collaborations spanning three decades, Salman Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala are set for a grand reunion in a high-budget action film scheduled for release during Eid 2025.
The duo's last joint venture, "Kick," was released in 2014, and the upcoming project marks their return after a decade.
Sources reveal that Sajid Nadiadwala has enlisted AR Murugadoss to direct Salman Khan in this mega-budget action entertainer. The film is anticipated to be a global action thriller, with shooting planned in Portugal, other European countries, and select locations in India. The estimated budget for the ambitious project is a whopping Rs 400 crore, making it one of Nadiadwala's most ambitious ventures, reported Pinkvilla.
The collaboration was initiated when Nadiadwala and Murugadoss discussed the project, and Salman Khan's name emerged as the unanimous choice for the lead role. The source disclosed, "The yet untitled action thriller will be shot in Portugal and other European countries apart from some portions in India on a huge budget of Rs 400 crore, making it the most ambitious film of Sajid Nadiadwala."
The film, a global action extravaganza, is scheduled to commence filming in the summer of 2024. The shooting will span several countries, with a marathon schedule extending until the end of the year. This venture aims to elevate the action genre to new heights and is positioned to be the most significant collaboration between Salman Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala.
AR Murugadoss, renowned for directing films like "Ghajini" and "Holiday" in Hindi, and various successful projects in Tamil and Telugu, had previously pitched "Ghajini" to Salman Khan in 2006. Now, after 18 years, the trio is finally teaming up for this mega-budget actioner, targeting an Eid 2025 release.
