Previously, a photograph circulated online featuring Rajinikanth and Fahadh Faasil, drawing significant attention to the ongoing filming of 'Vettaiyan'. The team behind the film has been deeply engrossed in the production process, dedicating months to craft this anticipated project.
Under the direction of TJ Gnanavel, 'Vettaiyan' promises an action-packed narrative and is being produced by Lyca Productions.
Apart from the stellar duo of Rajinikanth and Fahadh Faasil, the film boasts an ensemble cast including Rana Daggubati, Amitabh Bachchan, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, and Dushara Vijayan, each portraying pivotal roles in this highly anticipated venture.
The upcoming Indian Tamil-language action film was officially announced in March 2023 under the tentative title Thalaivar 170, being the 170th film of Rajinikanth as the lead actor, and the official title was announced in December 2023.
