Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor are set to throw a boho baby shower for their daughter Sonam Kapoor in Mumbai. The boho-themed party will be reportedly designed by Bollywood's quirky fashion designer Masaba Gupta.
Sonam Kapoor and husband Anand Ahuja announced the news of their pregnancy in March 2022.
The baby shower will take place at Sunita's sister Kavita Singh's bungalow Rockdale in Bandra. The location holds a special place in Sonam's life as she got married here in 2018.
Masaba Gupta and Sonam Kapoor have been friends since childhood. The duo is often seen together in the city. The soon-to-be-mom earlier took to Instagram to demand her baby bump clothes from Masaba. She wrote that Masaba hasn't yet made her baby bump clothes yet and she cannot wait for them anymore. "So, I am sucking up to her publicly."
Pinkvilla reported that the party is going to be filled with popular faces of the industry including Swara Bhasker, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Amrita Arora, Malaika Arora, Alia Bhatt, Natasha Dalal, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Deepika Padukone.
Family members like Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, and Mohit Marwah will also be there.
Sonam Kapoor already had one baby shower in London where she lives with her husband. She shared the pictures on Instagram and wrote: "It's all starting to feel real! This baby is now well on its way".
The grand party in Mumbai is set to take place on July 17th.
