I won't retire from acting, will have to be fired: Shah Rukh Khan

Mumbai: Shah Rukh Khan has put rumours to rest and declared that he has no plans to retire from acting. During an #AskSRK session on Twitter, someone asked him who will be his successor as the biggest superstar of Bollywood after his retirement. He replied: "I will never retire from acting. I will have to be fired. And maybe, even then I will come back hotter."

However, the superstar said he is getting awkward seeing himself on the screen. "The body shots… I was very shy and very cold!" Pathaan is still making good numbers at the box office and has become a blockbuster. It is getting closer to the Rs 1000 crore mark at the global box office. The action thriller has brought out Shah Rukh Khan's sultry side back to the silver screen.

When a fan asked about his reaction to bringing people together through his movies. he said a good film is just a reason to show unity. When a fan asked about what his favourite genre was, he said: "Now I like to play what I think people would like me to play…I have evolved as an actor I think. My personal likes are diminishing."

People were also curious about his four-year-long break from acting. One user asked about his routine during those years. SRK said: "I just sat at home and watched all the films that I could to become an audience again and not be a movie maker."

He will be next seen in Atlee-directed Jawan and Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki. The 57-year-old has not announced any new projects and asked people to not pay attention to gossip. "Not just about Pathaan 2 but every work of mine I will announce and say to you guys personally. Please wait for me to tell you the truth, not listen to stupid gossip!"
