‘House of the Dragon' to stop at season 4

Ryan Condal, the showrunner of House of the Dragon, has stated that the fourth season will mark the end of the series. August 4 marked the premiere of the second season of the "Game of Thrones" prequel. Additionally, it was disclosed that the third season, which is presently in the writing stage, is scheduled to premiere at the beginning of next year.

HBO is also producing "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms," which will take place one hundred years before the "Game of Thrones" show's events, the New Indian Express reported.

"House of the Dragon," written by George R. R. Martin and Ryan J. Condal, is based on Martin's book Fire & Blood. It takes place two centuries prior to the events of "Game of Thrones," and Paddy Considine, Emmy D'Arcy, Matt Smith, Rhys Ifans, Olivia Cooke, and Fabien Frankel are among the ensemble cast members.

There were ten episodes in the first season and eight in the second. It chronicles events that lead to House Targaryen's downfall, including the "Dance of the Dragons," a succession war.
