Dhanush represents Tamil culture at The Gray Man's premiere, Wears traditional veshti sattai

Tamil actor Dhanush was recently seen at the Mumbai premiere of The Gray Man which marks his Hollywood debut. The actor impressed many by wearing traditional South Indian attire Veshti Sattai.

Since the photos from the event were shared on social media, many fans have expressed their pride over his choice. He also welcomed the directors of the movie the Russo Brothers with a vanakkam gesture.

Russo Brothers tweeted photos from the event and wrote: "Such a beautiful night. Thank you so much, India. It is always a pleasure to visit. We appreciate your amazing hospitality Dhanush. We will be back soon."

Many Bollywood celebrities including Vishal Bharadwaj and Aanand L. Rai, actor Vicky Kaushal, and producer Siddharth Roy Kapoor attended the premiere.

The American action thriller is streaming on Netflix and is intended to start a franchise based on Mark Greaney's Gray Man novels. The movie stars Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, Regé-Jean Page, Jessic Henwick, and Ana de Armas as well.

However, the CIA-agent-gone-rogue story hasn't impressed many due to its cliche script. Many have criticised the hypermasculine lead characters played by Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans. Film's impressive factor is action and it delivers on that front. Avik San played by Dhanush gets a hero's entry like others. In the trailer, he was seen fighting Gosling.
