Mumbai: Hollywood film John Wick Chapter 4 has seen a strong opening in the Indian market. But, Bollywood films Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar and Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway have kept up their performance at the box office. Analysts think their box office reports are similar to pre-pandemic jumps.
On its third Saturday, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar grew by 70% and is looking at over Rs 125 crore nett. On Friday alone, it added around Rs 3.20 crore. It is currently the second highest grossing Hindi film of the year. The Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer's overseas collection is expected to be close to $ 5 million by the end of its run.
On its second Saturday, Rani Mukerji's Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway doubled its numbers and earned Rs 13 crore. By the end of Sunday, it is expected to touch Rs 15 crore net with Rs 1.70 crore nett on Saturday. The overseas performance of the film is also going well and is expected to have a share of over Rs 15 crores.
John Wick Chapter 4 has collected around Rs 1 crore in two days.
