Hyderabad: A local Kannada channel has reported that Gauri Lankesh killers had planned to kill actor Prakash Raj, after he targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The channel reported that, according to the SIT findings, the killers were enraged as the actor criticised PM at public platforms.
The report also suggests that the killer had also planned to eliminate Jnanpeetha awardee Girish Karnad and they had named it as 'operation kaka'.
Responding to the reports, Prakash Raj said that he is not threatened and his voice would only "grow stronger" and that they wouldn't manage to get away by playing "hate politics".
