Kochi: Actress Asin Thottumkal is all set to tie the knot with Micromax co-founder Rahul Sharma in Delhi on January 20. As reports, the wedding will be solemnized as per Hindu and Christian customs on January 20.
The wedding celebrations will take place at a hotel on NH8, Delhi, on January 19 and 20.
A reception for her Bollywood friends will be held at Mumbai on the 23rd of January.
Asin and Rahul had announced their relationship a few months back.
Actor Akshay Kumar, who was the first person to be invited to auspicious ceremony, had shared glimpse of their wedding card.
The actor, who is said to have introduced Asin and Rahul, took to Twitter to express his feelings on getting the card.
Bollywood's “Khiladi” Kumar also shared an image of the card, which looks chic and classy with subtle colour palette minus the bling.
With a blend of brown and golden yellow hues, the card flaunts linear patterns organised in the shape of shrub and flowers.
Akshay, who has worked with Asin in films like “Khiladi 786” and “Housefull 2”, is said to have an important role in the marriage as well. He has been reportedly picked as the best man for the nuptials.
Asin began her acting career in the South Indian film industry, but later shifted to Bollywood. She speaks eight languages and dubs her own films. She is the only Malayali actress, other than Padmini, to have dubbed in her own voice for all her films, irrespective of language.
