Mumbai: Ola has successfully transitioned its entire workload to its in-house artificial intelligence (AI) firm, Krutrim, according to founder and CEO Bhavish Aggarwal. This move comes a week after the company severed ties with its former cloud service provider, Microsoft Azure.
"As committed, our Azure spend is now zero. All workloads are on Krutrim Cloud. This transition was completed within a week. We will also assist others in exiting and moving to our own Indian stack. Over 2,500 developers have already signed up! We will be working with everyone to integrate them into our cloud services over the coming weeks," Aggarwal announced on the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.
He mentioned that approximately 2,500 developers had enrolled to test Krutrim Cloud. On May 11, Aggarwal had shared on X that Ola was ending its partnership with Microsoft Azure and planned to migrate its entire workload to Krutrim within a week. Azure is a cloud computing platform developed by Microsoft.
