Indian billionaire's daughter Isha Ambani is reportedly to become the chair of Reliance conglomerate's retail unit, according to Bloomberg.
The announcement for Isha' s elevation might formally be made tomorrow, the report said sourcing out people familiar with the happenings.
The 30-year-old Isha, who is an alumnus of Yale University, is currently director of Reliance Retail Ventures Ltd.
Her twin brother, Akash Ambani was Tuesday made the chairman of the business behemoth's telecom unit, Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd.
The siblings reportedly were part of a team that piloted negations with Meta Platforms Inc.'s investment in the group. The twins have a younger brother, Anant, 27.
Ambani family's oil-to-telecom conglomerate has subsidiaries including Reliance Retail and Reliance Jio with the $217 billion Reliance Industries Ltd as the flagship firm, according to the report.
Mukesh Ambani is chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries.
