US Republican candidate burns holy Quran, calls Muslims 'terroists'

Texas: A Republican candidate in the US state of Texas, who is contesting the 31st Congressional district seat here, posted a seriously problematic video on social media in which she could be burning a copy of the holy Quran. The person, Valentina Gomez, could also be heard saying that the religion of Islam must be stopped “once and for all”.
In the video, Valentina says, “Your daughters will be raped and your sons beheaded, unless we stop Islam once and for all.”
According to her claim, America is a Christian nation, and Muslims should leave for any of the 57 Muslim nations.
“… those terrorist Muslims can F*** off to any of the 57 Muslim nations,” Valentina could be heard saying.

Later, she surfaced with a second post on X, saying that she does not regret her action.
Her second post read, “I stand by my actions & I will never bend a knee to the book that is responsible for the massacre of October 7th, took the lives of 13 U.S service members at Abbey Gate, & calls for our assassination.”
According to reports, the Republican is notorious for her hateful campaign advertisements against Muslims, African-Americans and immigrants. In April, she disrupted a Muslim civic engagement event here, wearing a hijab. At the event, she took the mic to make a critically problematic hate speech against Muslims. She said that Islam is the religion of rape, incest and pedophilia, where Muslims bow down to a “stupid rock” and a “false prophet”.
She was escorted away while she kept shouting that she won’t allow Sharia law to take over Texas, adding that it is a Christian state.
