Queen Elizabeth test positive second time
text_fieldsAccording to Buckingham Palace, 95-year-old Queen Elizabeth has tested positive for COVID and is feeling mild symptoms. However, she expects to continue light duties for the remainder of the week.
"The queen has today tested positive for COVID," the Palace said. "Her Majesty is experiencing mild cold like symptoms but expects to continue light duties at Windsor over the coming week."
"She will continue to receive medical attention and will follow all appropriate guidelines," the Palace said.
A palace source said the heir to the throne had met the queen just a few days before he contracted Coronavirus for the second time.
In October, after being hospitalized for an unspecified illness and having been urged by her doctors to rest, the health of the queen, the world's oldest and longest-reigning monarch, has come under scrutiny.
On Wednesday, Elizabeth jokingly joked that she was unable to move much during her first engagement since Charles tested positive.
