President of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and Opposition Leader in the National Assembly (NA), Shehbaz Sharif, on Friday, slammed Prime Minister Imran Khan for toppling the IMF in the economic war, Dunya News reported.

According to Sharif, the government claims that the burden won't fall on the poor, yet in reality, the mini-budget will cripple the economy as a whole.

The Opposition Leader was angry at the level of violence and indifference displayed by this government towards the poor people of Pakistan. Furthermore, Shehbaz Sharif accused Imran Khan and the company of driving up inflation in the country.

Prior to that, the PML-N leader had stated that economic and political stability are integral to national security.

His tweet claimed that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) tenure in government has been the worst due to poor economic management and poor governance.

In addition, Shehbaz said that the citizens have never felt this hopeless about the future and warned that it is jeopardizing national security.
