Melbourne: Though there was diplomatic blockage running between Indian and Pakistan administrations due to various issues, cricket fans from the two nations celebrated the match between their respective teams. After the shining performance by Indian star batter Virat Kohli, securing the victory for India, who struggled at first, India and Pakistan cricket fans danced together outside the stadium celebrating the match, NDTV reported citing videos shared by Twitter users.

Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan retweeted footage from outside the Melbourne Cricket Ground after the Sunday Ind-Pak match, where fans of blue and green danced together to the famous Punjabi song Ishq Tera Tadpave (Oh Ho Ho Ho) by Sukhbir.

Users added captions like "The unity at MCG" and "Cricket (sport) is the winner..hence the jubilation". Another user highlighted the popularity of the song, saying, "No wedding without this song".

Anand Mahindra shared a video recently, in which fans danced to the hit song, 'Lungi Dance' from Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone's Chennai Express. The performance was before the match.

Mahindra commented, "Given the strength of the Lungi Dance Division & the Bhangra Battalion, India appears to have already won the T20WC 2022 World Cup of Pre-match Fan Support."

In the T20 World Cup opener match, India beat Pakistan for four wickets in a tight match where the scales of victory kept landing on both the battling teams. Virat Kohli made a comeback kind of performance, scoring 82 runs from 53 balls. Pakistan couldn't seal the match though they posed a severe challenge to India.
