New Delhi: Besides regular serious politics, G7 meeting happening in the Alpine castle of Schloss Elmau in southern Germany was plentiful of lighter moments too.

World leaders including US President Joe Biden, PM Modi, French President Emmanuel Macron and others let their hair down hugging and shaking hands in lavish doses of bromance.

Notably photos of PM Modi and Emmanuel Macron emerged yesterday showed them chatting over a cup of tea like two friends at a patio. Social media last night was abuzz after the two leaders were seen engrossed in deep conversation and later photos emerged of them hugging.

Another visual showed US President Joe Biden walking up and patting on PM Modi's back as he was busy talking to the Canadian PM Justin Trudeau. Modi turned around, breaking off his conversation with Trudeau and hugged Joe Bidden and they shook hands.

PM Modi and Joe Biden are believed to be in friendly terms calling each other 'a dear friend' on various occasions.

Prime Minister Modi arrived in Germany to participate the summit following an invitation by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. Upon his arrival Chancellor received PM Modi at Schloss Elmau, the picturesque venue of the summit in southern Germany.

The summit, being hosted by Germany in its capacity as the chair of G7, where leaders including UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, French President Emmanuel Macron, Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi, Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga, and US President Joe Biden are taking part.
