New Delhi: A lot of people using WhatsApp often chillingly become aware of an inappropriate message sent or a wrong receiver of a content past the time limit for deleting them.

Currently the "Delete Message for Everyone" will not work if you don't delete the message within 1 hour, 8 minutes, and 16 seconds of sending it.

WhatsApp will give you time up to 2 days and 12 hours to decide whether you want to delete a message, according to an announcement by WhatsApp on Twitter.

"Rethinking your message? Now you'll have a little over 2 days to delete your messages from your chats after you hit send," said a WhatsApp post on Twitter.

Where Apple's iMessage has cut the time limit for deletion from 15 minutest to two minutes, WhatsApp is giving more time to delete a sent message, according to India Today.

Many out there are obviously happy about WhatsApp's new feature, however at least some believe that the new feature could be misused.

Users, reportedly, consider iMessage's reduced deletion time-limit too less to decide the fate of the message.
