More power to Group Admin: Know WhatsApp's 5 new updates

Here we have the latest features updated on WhatsApp that are believed to be active in the coming weeks. There are five significant features, including convenient file sharing, adding more people to audio calls and more power given to the WhatsApp Group admins.

WhatsApp Community

This feature enables people to bring together common interest groups. Some of the examples highlighted by WhatsApp are Our Building, Local Restaurant, City School Parents and more.F or example, a school principal can bring all parents together to share must-read updates and set up groups about specific classes, extracurricular activities or volunteer needs.

WhatsApp increases file sharing limits

This feature enables people to share file up to 2GB. Currently, WhatsApp only allows users to send up to 100MB of files to their friends.

More power to Group Admin

This feature empowers Group Admin with more power, including the control to delete messages that they feel are not suitable for the Group and its members.

Quick reaction with Emoji

People can soon add emoji reactions directing in its chat app — like Instagram and Facebook. This will allow people to quickly share their opinion without flooding chats with new messages.

More members on WhatsApp audio calls

With the feature, you can add up to 32 members simultaneously to your audio calls through WhatsApp from eight people at present. WhatsApp will be introducing one-tap voice calling for up to 32 people, with all a new design.
