According to the report, smartwatch shipments experienced a decline for the first time since Q4 of 2018, dropping by 7.3 percent to 9.6 million units. The share of smartwatches decreased to 37.6 percent from 41.4 percent in Q1 of 2023. On the other hand, the earwear category witnessed an 8.3 percent year-over-year growth, with shipments reaching 15.9 million units.
